1. Scope and our role
This Privacy Policy applies to the Tripix website, mobile applications, trip-request and booking flows, customer support, and the portals or tools used by fleet partners and drivers. It applies when you browse, create an account, request or manage a trip, supply transport services, or otherwise communicate with Tripix.
Tripix is a marketplace and coordination platform for planned chauffeur-driven travel. For information used to operate the platform, Tripix decides why and how that information is processed. A fleet partner may also process some booking information for its own legal and operational responsibilities as the transport service provider.

Website, app, and device data
- IP address, device and browser type, app version, operating system, language, crash and diagnostic data, security events, referral page, and interactions with Tripix features.
- Cookie or local-storage identifiers and preferences. The current public website's use of these technologies is described in the Cookie and Local Storage Policy.
Please do not place unnecessary identity, health, financial, or other sensitive information in free-text trip instructions. If a detail is needed for accessibility or safety, provide only what Tripix and the assigned fleet partner need to fulfil the trip.
3. Where personal data comes from
- Directly from you when you browse, register, request a quote, book, travel, provide services, or contact us.
- From another person arranging travel for you, such as an employer, family member, event organiser, or primary passenger. The organiser must have authority to share the required information.
- From fleet partners, drivers, payment providers, mapping or communications providers, and support vendors.
- From public or official sources used to verify business, vehicle, permit, licence, tax, or compliance records, where permitted by law.
- Automatically from the website, app, device, and security systems when you use Tripix.
4. How and why we use personal data
Tripix processes personal data for lawful purposes connected with the service, including to:
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and maintain profile preferences.
- understand a trip request; calculate or obtain estimates; review routes, timing, billable kilometres, passenger fit, and vehicle requirements; and match eligible fleet partners.
- share necessary booking details, confirm availability, assign vehicles and drivers, coordinate substitutions, communicate status, and complete the trip.
- collect or reconcile payments, issue receipts and refunds, prevent duplicate or unauthorised transactions, and satisfy accounting and tax obligations.
- provide support, handle grievances, investigate incidents, protect passengers and service providers, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
- verify fleet partners, drivers, vehicles, and compliance documents; monitor expiry; and maintain service quality and audit records.
- diagnose technical issues, secure Tripix systems, measure feature performance, improve matching and customer experience, and develop new services using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
- send transactional messages about requests and bookings. Promotional messages will be sent only where allowed and can be opted out of without stopping essential trip communications.
Where law requires consent, Tripix will request a clear affirmative action and explain the data and purpose. You may withdraw consent for future processing, but Tripix may still retain or use information where another legal basis or obligation applies.
6. Payments and financial information
Payment providers may collect bank, card, UPI, wallet, or other payment credentials directly through their secure interfaces. Tripix generally receives transaction references, method category, amount, status, settlement, and refund information rather than complete payment credentials. A payment provider's own privacy terms also apply to information it collects directly.
Fleet-partner bank details and tax records are used only for verification, settlement, reconciliation, and legal obligations, and access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers.
7. How long we keep data
Tripix keeps personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose explained in this policy, for an active account or commercial relationship, and for any longer period required by tax, accounting, transport, consumer-protection, payment, safety, or dispute laws.
- Uncompleted trip enquiries are deleted or de-identified when no longer needed for follow-up or fraud control.
- Booking, transaction, invoice, complaint, and incident records may be kept through the applicable limitation, audit, and statutory record-retention periods.
- Partner, driver, and vehicle verification records are kept during the relationship and for the period needed for compliance, audit, safety, and claims after it ends.
- Precise location or trip-execution data, where collected, is retained for a shorter operational period unless it is required for a live dispute, safety investigation, or legal obligation.
When retention is no longer justified, Tripix will delete, securely destroy, or irreversibly anonymise the data. Backups may take additional time to cycle out but remain protected and are not restored for ordinary use.
8. Security and incident response
Tripix uses organisational, contractual, and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the risk, including access controls, role separation, encrypted transport, secure credential handling, logging, backups, vendor review, and incident-response procedures. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so Tripix cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
If a personal-data breach requires notice under applicable law, Tripix will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority in the manner and timeframe required, and will take reasonable steps to contain and remediate the incident.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your request, you may ask Tripix to:
- provide information about personal data being processed and the recipients with whom it was shared;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data and update changed information;
- erase data that is no longer needed, unless retention is required or otherwise legally permitted;
- withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis;
- stop promotional messages while continuing to receive essential service messages;
- review a privacy grievance and provide a reasoned response; and
- nominate another individual to exercise applicable data rights in the event of death or incapacity once that right applies under Indian law.
Tripix may request information needed to verify identity and protect the account. A request may be limited where disclosure would affect another person's rights, reveal protected information, conflict with law, or undermine fraud, safety, or legal proceedings. Tripix will explain a denial where required.
10. Children and passenger information
Tripix accounts and bookings are intended for adults who can enter a binding contract. A parent, lawful guardian, or authorised adult may arrange travel that includes children and should provide only the information necessary for safe fulfilment. Tripix does not knowingly invite children to create independent accounts or provide consent on their own behalf.
If Tripix learns that a child's personal data was collected without appropriate authorisation, it will take reasonable steps to remove it, subject to safety, booking, and legal-record requirements.
11. International processing
Some technology providers may process or store data outside India. Where this occurs, Tripix will use contractual and security safeguards and follow any transfer restriction notified under applicable Indian law. The core trip service remains subject to this policy regardless of where an authorised provider processes the data.
12. Contact, grievances, and policy changes
Privacy requests should be sent to To be published before launch. Until that dedicated channel is published, do not send identity documents or sensitive information through an unverified address. The formal escalation process is described in the Grievance Redressal Policy.
Tripix may update this policy when the service, vendors, or law changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the product or by another appropriate channel before they take effect where required. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
